Time stands still but cruelly passes by.
I can't get enough to sustain this high.
Your arms keep me safe and warm.
I know it's over when you're gone.
Your name is etched into my sleeve.
I'm forgotten once you leave.
One more smile, just one more kiss,
you give me something I know I'll miss.
Sweet empty words keep me awake,
falling for you was my only mistake
Letting you get under my skin
but how can I regret this short lived fling?
I hope that you'll call but I know that you won't,
I'll write out a text but send it I don't
I wonder and pray that you think of me.
Could it all have been just a dream?

Grandma (Poem)
What happened to you?
This little old lady once so full of life
wilting away in a nighty of white
The family you love circles you at your bed,
Smiling along with their minds full of dread
An amazing lady, you never stopped.
not even when your heart grew so soft.
Brisk morning walks through the long corridors
Snapping at doctors who told you to rest.
Years ago when your mind started to weaken
Less sense was made in the words you were speaking.
It once amused us but now it finally seems.
Your bodies catching up to this aging machine.
Whenever and wherever you decide to leave.
Just know we will wear our hearts on our sleeves.
We'll sing your favorite song as the curtain falls.
Leaving us all in bitter sweet remorse.
Although your mind and your body have started to die.
Your spirit will soar and your soul will fly.

Yeah, I had issues at 16... It gets better! If you are struggling with your mental health, please talk to someone!
My heart pumps, but does not beat
I inhale, but do not breathe
I look, but do not see
My world is dead, around me
I touch, but do not feel
I'm here, but am I real?
I clasp my hands together and kneel.
Swallowed by this all consuming world
You’re near, but are we close?
Loved by few, hated by most.
One day here, the next day not.
Should we hold tight, to what we got?
Memories overshadowed by doubt
these are the things i'll never shout
Girl found hanging by her bed
Your harsh words, your fault she's dead
You're my father but not my Dad
I feel empty, but can't feel sad.
Too late to take back what you've done
another chance with a new born son.
The cycle continues round and round.
Lie with me here, on the ground.
I'm the girl noone cared to save
But count the flowers on my grave.
I'm not gay (Poem)
I’m not gay but I like your hair.
I’m not gay but I can’t help but stare.
I’m not gay but I want you around.
I’m not gay, I swear.
I’m pretty straight but I love the way you kiss
I’m pretty straight but you’re someone I would miss.
I’m pretty straight but stay another day?
But I’m pretty straight, really! I insist!
Maybe I’m bendy it could be true.
Maybe I’m bendy but only for you.
You’re just so beautiful, you’re my best friend.
I’m swear I’m not gay, I just love you.
